What do you think of the new Honda NT700V sport touring bike?
Personally, the thing looks like it should be called ST700, but would make sense too. So, do you have installed one of these? Has enough power for two? How will the clutch and the Storage Space? My bike now is a Suzuki Burgman 650 with about 50 horsepower. Is this a ST700/NT700V reinforce – or just another option? Thanks for your feedback.
People who have not ridden this bike are quick to judge by reading what others say. I spent a week in '04 NT650V Deauville – two and full to bursting – in the Highlands of Scotland and found the bike to tons of fun. I have three BMW and a VFR, so I have an idea. I looked at a 2010 KX-NT700 in the showroom two days ago, and it seems stronger than 04, with a wider, more solid foundation and many adjustable windscreen. The bike is more compact than the RT, and has less to shoot, but he still has a lot of up and feels great V-Twin. Not for use in long distance road because it gets a little nervous about 80 km / h, but otherwise, I I give this bike very highly rated and we hope to add one to my garage at the right price. It has excellent capacity and weather protection (much better than F800ST, or Versys VStrom). It is very comfortable for long days (unlike F800ST) and tree training. There is a scooter, despite the 'integrated' bags. It is not sexy and not sport. However, road as a means, not competition. Check your ego Harley-enterprises in the door, throw a leg over and go for a long trip in the mountains. You come back with a big smile on his kisser.
